My heart ached, tears streamed down my face as I listened to the heart felt story of family loss.   A young woman of 50, yes 50 is young!   As the story unfolded, and this dear lady shared the news of the funeral of her husband’s sister, who lost her battle with breast cancer.   

As the days after the woman’s death passed and the story of a deep, heavy silent pain and sadness were revealed, linking the difficult and destructive life patterns that began soon after an abortion as a young woman.  Although at that time I believe there was very little known, nor research confirming abortion trauma leaving a lasting and, often destructive footprint in a women’s soul.

We can do so much better than allowing the coverup of the truth to continue in the media, Planned Parenthood, President Obama’s blank check endorsement of them, Health and Human Services division (HHS), NIH, Susan G. Komen, the APA (American Psychological Association) and others.   Women Deserve Better! 

As I continue to hear stories like this family’s tragic loss and a life riddled by the hidden grief and loss of a child from abortion, I am more determined and committed to bringing the truth to light of the full spectrum impact abortion has on a woman’s life.
