Without a vision, it is said, people perish.  Wow!  That’s pretty extreme wouldn’t you say?  Perish?  Really?

But when you really think about it and break it down it’s actually quite true. The very word VISION ~ the following definition is one to think on:

  • FAITH here is turned into VISION there.
  • To have a VISION deep within, in your gut and to see it through, you’ve got to have FAITH.
  • A revelation from God; an appearance or exhibition of something supernaturally presented to the mind’s eye.
  • Something imaginary; the production of fancy.

 

When I got the VISION for LifeVictory more than ten years ago I truly believe at a deep core level, it saved my life. I was on empty.

What God planted as a seed into the soil my heart in the Spring of 2003 has grown into something so dear and precious in my relationship with God. I knew then too that it wasn’t just for me. He had a greater purpose for what He was going to unfold as I made myself ready to receive the fullness of the gift He wanted to give me.

But, as the title speaks of Fear and Self-Doubt, this journey has been one of overcoming many fears and deep, very personal self-doubt. In the beginning stages I didn’t know really what that was or looked like as it presented itself in my life.

LifeVictory has become a symbol of LOVE, Redemption, Transformation and HOPE!  Out of my greatest personal tragedy, of which I will always carry a scar, I found healing, renewed outlook that once again could consider the infinite possibilities!

Breaking through lies, fear, torment, nightmares, confusion, disillusionment, grief and trauma. By God’s lavishly amazing grace, forgiveness, and restorative LOVE I’ve been redeemed.

Way back then, in the Spring of ’03, a VISION was planted with FAITH the size of a mustard seed, that nearly got choked out by fear and self-doubt, but God came near and gave me HOPE to cling to Him and believe that out of the ashes of my life, He could create beauty.

He gave me the VISION of LifeVictory!  To Consider the Possibilities!  No Matter What My Past….I Have a Future and a Hope! And so do YOU!  You can overcome the things that hold you back, no matter what you’ve done and no matter where you’ve been YOU are LOVED, YOU are TREASURED and YOU compare to no one. You are incredibly and uniquely YOU, only YOU! And with VISION and FAITH, not faith in faith, but FAITH in GOD, who planted the VISION in the first place. He knows what you can accomplish, what you were created to do….and don’t forget you weren’t meant to do it alone. And, if at times it terrifies you, that’s a God-sized VISION for YOU! Embrace it, write it down, nurture it, grow in it….keep seeking, asking and knocking. GOD will see you through the fear, doubts, trials and terrors…guaranteed!
