Value Virtuous Vision

It is said that without a vision people perish! I think that requires looking outside of ourselves, to something, or Someone far greater than ourselves. Vision comes from a greater purpose firmly grounded and rooted in who we are and what we were created to be in the Image of God. A vision, mission and purpose of our greatest and highest contribution to the world around us. A vision to be a world changer, not just to suit ourselves, but to Be a World Changer Created in the Image of God. That’s a vision outside of ourselves. Thinking outside the box.

A vision that builds on virtue, a pursuit of excellence. A form of bravery, strength, moral excellence and valor out of a sincere love for God, distinguised from religion.

Because, we value and give importance to the things God Values.

We live in a world of great contrasts, to put it mildly.

Vision has a lot to do with faith. But faith in what, or shall I say who? We put a lot of faith and hope in a lot of people and things. People and things that don’t bring us to a better place. Not that they are not valuable, but we need to ask ourselves is this person or thing in our life helping us build on and greater vision and purpose for our lives.

Vision without God is void of clear purpose and clarity. It’s like seeing life with the glass half empty instead of half full. A life full of abundance, love, possibilities, and hope for a brighter future despite what we see in front of us. Without vision we lose hope, which leads me back full circle to my first statement….without a vision people perish.

Be Encouraged to Be Empowered to Encourage and Empower Others!

I just couldn’t let May 31st, 2016 end without another word of ENCOURAGEMENT to EMPOWER you!

It comes from my favorite book of all time. This book has been a source of life and encouragement to me in some of my darkest and worse case scenarios. Times I would not want to repeat! EVER!

So, when I think of the wisdom and scope of God’s plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will give you mighty inner strength through His Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your heart as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous LOVE. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep His LOVE really is. May you experience the LOVE of Christ, though it is so great you will never full understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

A Mother Ponders Mother’s Day…………..

Solemn Birthday my Sweet Guinevere Rose!

You would have been 35 years old this Mother’s Day had we said YES to the LIFE you were meant to LIVE.

Had we said YES to you and run fully into the arms of Papa God for forgiveness, instead we chose to continue along the path of lies and deception, deceiving ourselves and all around us, who could have helped us choose LIFE for you. The path into darkness grew for more than 2 decades….impacting every aspect of our marriage, parenting and our lives. We ignored the LIFE, and her impact, of our first child we chose to snuff out.
By the grace of God our marriage survived, hanging on by a thread….that thread was Jesus! Even though the church, the body of Christ, was all around us no one ever talked about the need to heal from abortion. Oh, maybe a short conversion, placing a little bandaid over the wound. In fact, abortion was rarely talked about….it was one of those taboo subjects….”too political” and “too divisive”! Such little understanding of how GOD WEPT over the brokenness He saw in His own children who were too busy “playing church” rather than BEING His church….
Yet, in our silence so many wounded and broken souls walked in and out of the doors of the church without a word to open the door, even a crack, to God’s healing grace from the deep soul wound of abortion trauma. Yes, the wound is deep, permeating every nook and cranny of one’s life. April Showers Bring May Flowers right? What else does May bring?

May does certainly bring glorious flowering beauty, there is no doubt about that!

But for some, the arrival of Mother’s Day brings with it a very mixed bag of emotions! I know, I was one of those women. On occasions it creeps up on me unexpectedly, like yesterday!

I just felt “off” emotionally and physical the last couple of days. It was a bit confusing, trying to figure out if I might have eaten something that just didn’t set in my stomach very well? Maybe I hadn’t drank enough water that day? Maybe I was catching a flu bug of some kind? I began to pray and ask God (maybe that’s where I should have started in the first place 😉 ?

I asked God what was going on with me? He knows me better than anyone else and He always tells me the truth and is straight up with me, no matter what. He wants the best for me, He loves me and I can always count on Him to give me the straight scoop! He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He’s walked me through the valley of the shadow of death and I fear no one or no thing.

So, as I quietly asked, pondered and waited for His reply, in His still small voice, He answered me…”remember when….Guinevere Rose would have been born? I have healed your broken, shattered and wounded soul, yet you still carry the scar. I have restored your confusion, I have renewed your mind, I have created a new thing….all sin is forgiven and you have been set free from your self-made prison. Faith, Forgiveness & Freedom are April’s theme…

Wow! What a month so far!!

I love this month’s theme….FAITH, FORGIVENESS & FREEDOM!

And has this ever been a month that emphasizes all three quite profoundly!

This past Friday I returned from an 8 day whirlwind trip to our nation’s Capitol, Washington, D.C.

I wasn’t there for sightseeing, although I did spend a little time at The Lincoln Memorial and UnitedCry 2016 between Reflecting Pool, Washington Monument (reaching high into the sky) and a treat to get to visit, David’s Tent in the middle of the National Mall.

My whole trip was an incredible step of FAITH!! Many steps of faith led me down this path. Stepping out in faith, overcoming fear!

God set a fire in my belly for social justice and righteousness!

What is faith anyway? Faith is believing in something you don’t see yet. Believing for something greater than yourself. Believing in a vision that you just know deep down in your knower! A drive, a passion coupled with purpose!

Having the faith to forgive brings with it a freedom and clarity that gives you tremendous ability to overcome fear and doubt. It’s one of those supernatural principles that isn’t easily explained. It just is! Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!

The just shall live by faith, not by sight.

Pure heart, pure mind, pure soul are a path to faithful freedom. Not just faith in faith, but faith in The One who created you, knows you best and all of the amazing things you are capable of.

4 Steps to Peace

Seems like a pretty tall order….Just 4 Steps to Peace….really? Yes, really!

Peace in the true sense of the word does not come from the world, it comes from within. Through a deep, abiding sense of well-being that comes from your divine and loving Creator God. I like to call Him, Papa God.

Now, with that said, you may be wanting to run for the hills, or at least go run and hide. But I ask you to pause, take a deep cleansing breath, and as you are inhaling and exhaling I want you to think of one thing you are thankful for. You see, inner peace starts with our thinking, our mind, our heart, our thoughts, when our thoughts are focused on worry, can create feelings which can send us on a wild ride of anxiety.

However, their is a better way!

Let me unpack the 4 Steps….

Don’t worry about anything
Pray about everything
Tell God what you need
Thank God for all He has done

Here’s the deal, If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His Peace will guard your heart and mind as you live in Christ Jesus. Really and truly!

Are you always scurrying about, keeping busy? Trying to fix everything on your own? Left with little or no time to just pause and get quiet. Reflect on even one thing you are thankful for. If you can’t think of one thing, here’s one. So start with God’s really truly LOVES YOU just the way you are. Did you know you are created in the image of God for love and good works? What is Identity, and why does it matter?

Where do we get our identity from anyway? Our parents, society through magazine, tv, movies, etc., from friends, teachers, family, the media? Is it even accurate?

It can be pretty confusing when we are in conflict with our heart, mind and soul. There are SO MANY messages and labels about identity, but are they accurate, true and healthy in order for you for fulfill your younique God-given purpose for love and good works!

Identity & Purpose go hand in hand….when you truly understand, become fully aware of your true God-given identity created in His image, accept your YOUnique and amazing identity you are not fooled by false identifiers, labels and an unhealthy, unproductive focus that would hold you back. Or worse, completely derail and get you off the path you were meant to walk in fulfilling your purpose.

One of the reasons I LOVE our signature coaching program, Identity & Destiny – 7 Steps to a Purpose Filled Life, it’s straightforward approach changed my life. I finally broke through the barrier of FEAR and Self-Doubt. They were major obstacles that I just kept getting stuck in before completing Identity & Destiny. Anyone can do it who is willing to put in the time and discipline of it. Generally, 5 days a week, 15-45 minutes each day, depending on the particular focus of each module.

Basically, 3 parts – Self-Awareness & Acceptance, The Bridge – Overcoming Fears, Blocks, Limiting Beliefs and Lies you’ve believed about yourself, and the Purpose Mosaic.

February First….

Not only is today the First of February, it’s the First day of the 2nd month of the year 2016….so why does that matter anyway? Not much really in the big scope of things….I just think that way sometimes 🙂

February is the month for romance – Valentine’s Day – Hearts – Flowers – Chocolate! For some it can be a very difficult time if you’ve had, or are in the midst of relationship struggles.

At LifeVictory Coaching February’s about LOVE ~ LAUGHTER ~ LIBERTY!

My favorite definition of what LOVE is comes from the greatest book on the planet. LOVE is patient and kind. LOVE is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. LOVE does not demand its own way. LOVE is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. LOVE is never glad about injustice but REJOICES when the TRUTH wins out. LOVE never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. LOVE will last forever.

I LOVE THAT!!! I hope you will take that with you and refer back to it often – you get more of what you give. GIVE LOVE, LIVE LOVE, BE LOVE!

One year from now….2017….Choose wisely!

Wow, a thought just came over me….on THIS DAY, one year from now, January 20, 2017, a new President of the United States will be in office.

WE MUST CHOOSE WISELY. Anyone who does not know, understand and move in the direction to restore the REPUBLIC from which the founding of our nation stands, The Constitution of these United States and our Bill of Rights has no place in the Oval Office.

The history of our nation has not always been a pretty sight, I get that. But that does not change the fact that the world has seen our nation as a City on a Hill because of the principles of which it was founded. Yes, man can lose his way, and many certainly have!

But I believe with all my heart, mind, soul and strength that IF WE THE PEOPLE will SEEK FIRST The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, Love God and His Ways, plans and Purposes, Love Others, then Love self, Love Others, then Love self, WE CAN AND WILL SEE a revival and a renewal like we have never seen before – not by seeking man’s knowledge but by SEEKING THE WISDOM OF HEAVEN ALONE

I do not believe we have yet seen in our nation the full potential of what God wants to see in the earth, a truly shining city on a hill. The principles of our nation were not about BIG government controlling the people. The pilgrims and settlers were fleeing that in Europe. WE NEED GOD IN AMERICA AGAIN! We can BE The Change God Wants To See in the World….man has tried and failed. I speak REVIVAL, RENEWAL, RESTORATION, RESILIENCE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Let’s just think…..

Setting aside any and all ideology, long held beliefs, preconceived notions. Please, just think for a moment and ponder this week the possibilities of this picture.

What is going on in this little girl’s mind? What is she thinking about as she presses her ear to her mommy’s growing belly? It’s like she is giving a gentle hug to her sibling so safely protected in their mommy’s womb only millimeters of skin, flesh and tissue separate them from being able to touch skin-to-skin. Such joy and anticipation!

The unknown world ahead. The hopes and dreams for a future of possibilities, fear, apprehension can also be a part of this scene. In God, we have a future and a hope! We have a future and a hope! With God, all things are POSSIBLE!

Every human life starts with the framework of being designed, created and born in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). When we continue on the path of possibilities with God we abide and remain in his presence, uncorrupted by the world, like the innocence of a child in the womb. Created for love and good works.

How can the world say that precious life has no value to be protected, loved and nurtured. Why are we not teaching our young women and men to love and believe the best? We can create with God what we want to see in the earth, for love and good works. Every human being is created to BE a POSSIBILITARIAN! It’s in our true nature, it really is!

As we approach this coming week and reflect on where our world and it’s ideas, let’s think on, promote and do all we can to BE the Change God Wants To See in the World and Become that [...]
